Kentucky Fried Garden is my journal of vegetable gardening in humid western Kentucky USDA zone 6b. Knowing where my food comes from and whether it comes from non-genetically modified seed is important to me. I try to use open pollinated varieties in an effort to continue maintaining the diversity of food plants available to humans. Trying to extend the harvest by experimenting with hardier varieties and overwintering plants will be one of my projects.

Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Some of our eggsss! So this past weekend was EASTER! Brian got to come home from school and spend almost 4 days at home with us! So that was def. exciting! On saturdayy i got to color eggs for the first time in FOREVER! Lol that was fun! Brought back some old memories! On sunday, stephen went to chruch with our family, after that we went to my family gathering.
